Privacy
We build a consent protocol, so the bar for our own site is simple: nothing that tracks you runs until you opt in, and you can change your mind anytime.
The short version
- No tracking before consent. Analytics does not load until you click “Allow analytics” in the banner. Decline and nothing loads.
- You can change your mind. Use “Cookie preferences” in the footer to re-open the choice at any time.
- We do not sell or share your data. Ever.
What we use
If, and only if, you allow it, we load Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and content resonate. We enable IP anonymization. We use this to prioritize what to build and write next, not to profile you.
If you decline, no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is stored locally in your browser so we do not ask again.
The newsletter
If you subscribe to protocol updates, your email address is stored with Buttondown, our email provider, solely to send you occasional updates. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and you can leave at any time.
Hosting
This site is static. Like any web host, our host records standard server logs (such as IP addresses and requests) for security and reliability. These are not used to track or profile visitors.
